The Circularity Team of Global Outsourced Operations drives the development of a circular economy across Dyson’s global footprint. We strive to create closed-loop recycling systems, transform waste into valuable resources which reduces our waste and carbon footprint. Our mission is to advance circularity within our operations, realize incremental cost savings and strengthen Dyson’s brand reputation.
We establish and manage robust recycling networks for both post-industrial and post-consumer materials. Our focus is on reintegrating recycled content into Dyson products in the most efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible manner possible.
About the roleEnable Visibility on Dyson’s Waste: Identify insights and uncover opportunities for material recycling and value recovery from Dyson’s production scraps– including plastics, batteries, electronic waste and more- through data mapping. This involves aggregating and analysing data from global market reports and internal sources to support data-driven decision-making and enhance Circularity dashboards.
Sustain Circularity Engineering Activities: Ensure traceability and maintain consistent quality and performance of closed-loop recycled materials in manufacturing through effective implementation and close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
Proactively Solve Problems: Identify and de-bottleneck hurdles in delivering Circularity objectives
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional global internal and external partners to assess and implement closed-loop material and value recovery solutions
Legal Liaison: Act as the primary contact with the Legal team as the PIC to stay informed on relevant global legislation and compliance requirements
Advocacy: Promote awareness and understanding of Circularity across the organization

What We Do
At Dyson we are focused on solving the problems that others have ignored; solving them first using our technology and ingenuity. In order to achieve this we need to pioneer technologies that are different and authentic. This is the core of what we do and who we are. We must strive to create the future, every single day by developing new things, different things, things that go against the grain with a diverse and global team of ingenious minds.
Dyson employs over 14,000 people and is present in more than 80 countries. And while we are growing fast we want Dyson to remain a start-up in spirit with the freedom of experimentation and learning, constantly reinventing our products as well as reinventing how we work, how we sell and how we support our owners. At the same time we are working through the James Dyson Foundation, James Dyson Award and Dyson Institute to inspire future engineers and pioneering a new approach to engineering education.
Underlining everything we do in this diverse environment is the need to always show respect, supporting each other as one team to overcome whatever challenges we encounter. We drive empowerment, development and equality in an inclusive environment for our people around the world.
The future doesn’t just happen, we look to make it happen, to achieve leaps through pioneering new ideas
