The Opportunity:
CACI's SAFFIRE team is seeking a highly motivated CI/CD Engineer to help test and validate critical Intelligence solutions for our NGA customers as part of the SAFFIRE program.
You will be a critical element, working closely with users, our user support team and CACI’s development teams ensuring that systems supporting the national security of our country are rigorously tested and reliable for their user base.
As a CI/CD Engineer, you will have the opportunity to primarily support multiple GIS Development teams and provide infrastructure development support for software utilized by a user base consisting of geospatial and imagery analysts.
SAFFIRE is at the forefront of developing and operating state-of-the-art of Geospatial Intelligence analysis software. The SAFFIRE team builds and maintains an exceptionally powerful platform enabling our users to address challenging real-world problems by converting disparate data into actionable information.
Responsibilities:
• Build and Maintain Infrastructure as Code for cloud-based services
• Procure, Build and Maintain Configuration Management for On-Prem Hardware and Assets
• Procure, install, and manage software licenses
• Assist in establishment, maintenance and troubleshooting of cloud-based and on-prem networking
• Automate development and operations processes to ensure reliability and repeatability
• Provide and maintain standard operating systems environments
• Test integrated systems, including cloud deployments, system tuning, patching, and monitoring to ensure seamless performance and compatibility.
• Provide technical validation and troubleshooting for end-users experiencing issues related to Geospatial Intelligence software applications, hardware, or other technology-related problems.
• Work in a team environment to solve complex problems including close collaboration with development engineers to diagnose, replicate, and verify fixes for complicated technical issues.
• Thrive in a fast-moving environment and enjoy learning new technologies and overcoming new challenges.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Experience with Agile Methodologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to integrate testing into continuous deployment workflows.
• Experience managing unclassified and classified development environments including workstations, servers, and GIS infrastructure
• Understanding of network configuration in cloud and on-prem environments
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for this job.
• Possess an IAT Level II certification (like Security+), or be able to obtain certification within 6 months of hire date.
• Experience deploying infrastructure with GIS software and coordinating integration tests between commercial and FOSS software implementations.
Desired:
• Experience procuring equipment for government contracts
• Experience managing hybrid on-prem / cloud operating environments
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or similar container technology or other container orchestration platforms
• Systems Engineering Support for documenting, updating, and managing program requirements and roadmaps within the Atlassian suite of software applications
• Experience supporting onboarding/hiring on government contracts

The proposed salary range for this position is:
