Job Description
- CI/CD Management: Design, set up, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, ensuring automated builds and deployments of applications and BSPs, with a special focus on C/C++ build environments.
- Pipeline Optimization: Continuously improve and optimize CI/CD processes for maximum efficiency and reliability, incorporating modern technologies like Docker and Conan2 for containerized builds.
- Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Testing: Manage and enhance HIL testing frameworks to ensure that automated tests are thorough and effective, simulating real-world usage to catch issues before deployment.
- Tool Integration: Integrate various development tools, including Conan2 for package management and Docker containers for isolated build environments, into the CI/CD pipeline to enhance code quality and development speed.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues within the CI/CD pipeline, particularly those related to C/C++ build processes and infrastructure.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide expert support in CI/CD practices, contributing to the overall software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in managing CI/CD environments, particularly with platforms like Jenkins, and a strong background in C/C++ development projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in CI/CD tools and practices, with extensive experience in setting up and managing Jenkins for C/C++ projects.
- Proficiency in scripting languages relevant to automation, such as Python and Bash.
- In-depth knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
- Advanced familiarity with Docker as a platform for building and testing in isolated environments.
- Proficiency in package management with Conan2, specifically for C/C++ libraries and applications.
- Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems for on-device testing.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both software and hardware teams. Must be fluent in English.
