The Commercial Rates & Foreign Exchange (FX) Solutions team helps clients manage exposures to interest rate and FX risk through the structuring of hedging strategies and implementation of payment solutions. Our integrated sales team provides best in-class interest rate and FX products, trade execution and customer service for clients within Wells Fargo's Commercial Banking and Wealth & Investment Management franchises.
In this role, you will:
  • Partner closely with senior Rates & FX salespeople and banking relationship managers to provide comprehensive risk management services to Wells Fargo's clients
  • Analyze, aggregate, and present financial information to support derivative products
  • Price, structure, and execute interest rate and currency transactions directly with clients
  • Provide daily front office support functions, including, but not limited to, trade processing and responding to customer service requests
  • Develop client pitch materials, hedge analyses, marketing materials, and deal documents
  • Generate timely interest rate and currency market updates to support client engagement and business development efforts
  • Provide analytical support for corporate finance, traders, and senior sales team
  • Develop expertise in interest rate and foreign exchange markets, hedging strategies, and derivative products
  • Work effectively with all support areas to deliver a superior client experience
  • Prioritize to successfully execute a wide range of internal processes, client requests, and transactions of varying complexity
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes, improve efficiency, and support platform-wide initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Dodd-Frank and regulatory rules
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of Markets experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in financial markets, foreign currencies, or derivatives
  • Intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in handling multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility, organizational skills, proactiveness, and a detail-oriented mindset

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% or as needed
  • Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Successful completion of the National Futures Association (NFA) Swaps Proficiency Requirements within 30 days of hire, unless previously completed and current
  • This position is subject to Dodd-Frank Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background screen. Applicants are subject to a new screen to comply with Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act which states that Associated Persons (AP) cannot be subject to statutory disqualification. Under industry regulations, an AP is defined as a team member who solicits or accepts client orders for swaps. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.
