About the Role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a CIB Lending Business Relationship Support Senior Manager to join the Credit and Data Administration (CDA) team within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Lending Operations. This role focuses on post-transaction support, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of credit-related data and documentation across the bank’s systems.
About the Line of Business:
Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) provides a full suite of corporate banking solutions—including credit, treasury management, and derivatives—to clients in Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Structured Products. The CDA team plays a critical role in supporting these lines of business by managing post-close activities and maintaining high standards of data quality and regulatory compliance.
In this role, you will:
Manage or oversee daily activities of a CDA team responsible for post-transaction credit processing
Manage allocation resources to support accurate and timely completion of post-transaction tasks
Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of the credit and data administration team
Manage or oversee quality assurance activities
Oversee responses to audit and compliance reviews
Collaborate with and consult with peers and multiple level managers
Serve as a key liaison with senior leaders across Credit, Risk, Portfolio Management, Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams within CIB, CIB Lending Operations and other lines of businesses across the enterprise internationally
Engage in change management and provide subject matter expertise to initiatives enhancing operational efficiency, data quality and risk mitigation
Represent CDA in enterprise forums, regulatory reviews or enterprise initiatives
Hire, coach and mentor talent to develop a high-performing team
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and Wells Fargo rules, policies, and regulations
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
Expertise in credit products, documentation, corporate loan structures, and post-transaction lifecycle management
Understanding of counterparty, treasury management, and trade products
Experience with loan systems including Loan IQ and AFS
Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory reporting, credit, and risk policy
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communications
Demonstrated process efficiency experience, including process assessment and recommendations for improvement
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment focused on results
Team player, willing to fill in on various initiatives simultaneously
Ability to collaborate with all levels of management and have presence to interact with Senior Leaders
