You are responsible for financial oversight and strategic analysis across CIB Digital & Platform Services, partnering with Senior Management, Technology Managers, and Business/Finance/P&A teams to drive planning and performance outcomes. You own core FP&A activities (forecasting, budgeting, month-end close reporting, variance analysis) and deliver executive-ready narratives and presentations. You also lead AI-enabled analytics and reporting automation to improve cycle times, accuracy, and control health, ensuring human review, documented assumptions, and audit-ready trails for all AI-assisted outputs.
Job Responsibilities
- You will produce executive presentations and status updates for Senior Management, translating complex financial results and AI-assisted insights into clear narratives and visuals.
- You will calculate, consolidate, and validate month-end actuals, remainder-of-year forecasts, and future period budgets, ensuring alignment to business goals.
- You will perform variance analysis versus prior forecast and budget, identify key drivers, and deliver concise, decision-focused commentary.
- You will deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting through automated pipelines, including AI-assisted narrative generation with human review and sign-off.
- You will design and implement standardized forecasting, reporting, and self-service solutions (dashboards/views) to improve consistency and transparency.
- You will strengthen financial controls through automation (data quality checks, reconciliations, variance/outlier detection) and maintain audit trails for AI-assisted steps.
- You will lead cross-functional initiatives to drive global consistency and synergies across Finance Management, including reusable templates, prompts, and control checkpoints.
- You will define and monitor KPIs for automation impact (e.g., cycle time reduction, error rates, rework rates), and coach peers on approved AI best practices and governance adherence.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related technical field.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Finance and Planning, including strategic analysis and project execution.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for financial models and executive materials.
- Strong Alteryx capability for ETL, data preparation, and process automation.
- Experience using firm-approved AI tools for data quality (anomaly detection, duplicate/missing data checks, reconciliations), forecasting (driver-based/ML scenarios, back-testing, explainability), and reporting (drafting variance commentary/executive summaries) with human validation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level storytelling and concise decision recommendations.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, including ability to challenge constructively and influence senior partners.
- Ability to perform under tight deadlines while maintaining integrity and appropriate handling of sensitive information.
