WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

The CI Production Manager will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow to ensure optimal resource utilization and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing productivity across the organization. Additionally, you will: 

 

Workforce Utilization and Workflow Analysis:

  • Analyze and assess workforce utilization to ensure efficient allocation of resources and optimal staffing levels.
  • Plan and optimize workflow processes to streamline operations and minimize bottlenecks, maximizing productivity.
  • Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide accurate information for management decisions.

Compliance and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):

  • Ensure that all direct reports adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance guidelines.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee understanding and adherence to SOPs.

Daily Production Management:

  • Assume direct responsibility for overseeing daily production activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring targets are met.
  • Identify and address any production issues or challenges to minimize disruptions and maintain smooth operations.

Strategic Planning and Continuous Improvement:

  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to strategic planning initiatives and policy development.
  • Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean methodologies, to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Evaluate existing processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.

WHAT WE SEEK

  • Proven experience in operations management, process improvement, and Lean methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and optimize workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficient in project management, with the ability to estimate production times, staffing needs, and related costs.
  • Solid understanding of compliance regulations, SOPs, and quality management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lean Manufacturing Certification preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of Industrial Engineering tools (Time Studies, Workflow Analysis, Pareto Charts, etc.) preferred
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred

 

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
