CI Engineer
We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our multicultural beverage can factory in Hämeenlinna, Finland.
As a CI Engineer, you will play a vital role in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence within our organization. Your focus will be on enhancing production processes, implementing Lean management strategies, and fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.

Main responsibilities:
In your role as a CI Engineer, you will lead continuous improvement and Lean management projects to optimize production processes and enhance efficiency at all levels of the organization. You will manage and supervise technological procedures in production, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and oversee the implementation of new materials and technologies. You will coordinate and monitor key performance indicators to ensure optimal production quality and cost-effectiveness.
Additionally, you will promote a culture of continuous improvement by engaging with employees, facilitating training, and supporting initiatives like the employee suggestion system. Your role also involves ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and Company values.
Our ideal Candidate:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Management, Production and Operations Management, Technology Management, or a related field.

Has 3-5 years in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

Knowledgeable in production processes, Lean management tools, SAP reporting, and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) systems. You also have technical expertise in the field of production machinery.

Proficient in using Office 365, Wiera/Lighthouse.

Skilled in organization, problem-solving, and the ability to work proactively and independently. You can influence others, delegate tasks effectively, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Fluent in English at an advanced level (C1).
