Position Highlights
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the organization, management and the direction of the nursing services for Home Health Service, Hospice, Public Health, Homemaker Services and Emergency Preparedness. Responsible for the management of clinical nursing practice, patient care, fiscal, and other resources; development of personnel; and compliance with regulatory and professional standards. Plans, organizes and controls patient care related functions. Responsible to take part in the administrative on-call duties with other team members as needed.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa.
- BSN level or higher preferred. (Working on and completed within two years).
- At least 2 years of experience in the health care management field, preferably as a manager.
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and leadership skills required.
- CPR Certified
- Must be able to deal effectively with stress.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including computer capabilities.
Skills Required
