Description
The Child Watch Attendant provides a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children while their parent or guardian is using the YMCA facility. Attendants engage children in age-appropriate activities, promote positive behavior, and ensure the safety and well-being of every child in their care while reflecting the YMCA's core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Friendly, dependable, patient, and energetic.
- Ability to engage children in positive activities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire).
