Chief of Staff
We are hiring an Executive Operations leader to work directly with the CEO to drive clarity, speed, and follow-through on the company’s most important priorities. This role sits at the center of decision-making and execution—working across leadership, board, and investors to ensure we operate as a high-performance team. You’ll bring structure to chaos, translate vision into operating rhythm, and lead critical projects that cut across functions. This is an ideal role for a strategic operator who wants to be in the room where decisions happen and build a long-term leadership path in climate and technology.

Role Responsibilities:Partner with the CEO on key decisions and priorities: Drive clarity and execution across the highest-leverage priorities and strategic bets.
Lead internal operating rhythm: Own and run the company’s OKR cycle—planning, mid-cycle check-ins, grading—and help instill a culture of accountability and focus.
Drive Board and investor prep: Lead preparation for Board meetings, including building the deck, coordinating inputs, and ensuring strategic narratives are tight.
Run internal communications: Draft key internal memos, run weekly All Hands, and ensure the company speaks with one clear voice.
Execute cross-functional initiatives: Project manage mission-critical efforts that span teams or require executive alignment and fast decision-making.
Improve how the company operates: Identify and evolve internal tooling, templates, processes, and documentation to help the company scale.
Support leadership culture and cohesion: Design and run leadership meetings, team offsites, and retros to improve trust, alignment, and effectiveness.
5–10 years of total experience, including 2+ years at a top-tier management consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG)
Proven experience working directly with C-level executives in high-growth, high-stakes environments
Strong background in strategy, operations, or Chief of Staff–type roles with cross-functional exposure
Experience preparing board materials and facilitating company-level operating cadences (e.g. OKRs, All Hands)
Excellent structured communication and executive writing skills
Fluency with modern work tools (Coda, Notion, Slack, Google Suite)
Strategic thinker with strong judgment and pattern recognition
Systems-oriented and relentless about clarity, prioritization, and follow-through
Executive maturity: trusted in high-stakes, ambiguous environments
Grounded, calm under pressure, and focused on outcomes
Able to influence without authority and collaborate across levels
Mission-driven and eager to grow into a long-term leadership role

What We Do
Over millions of years, silicate rock weathering has regulated Earth’s climate. By crushing silicate rocks and spreading them on agricultural soils - an approach called Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW) - we can accelerate Earth’s natural process into a solution capable of addressing the urgency of climate change.
Existing agricultural and silicate rock sites - namely 5,000+ global silicate rock quarries surrounded by agricultural land - have the potential to remove billions of tonnes of CO2 with enhanced rock weathering. Despite this potential, ERW hasn’t scaled given the extraordinary scientific, technological, and operational challenges involved. Terradot, founded out of the Stanford ecosystem, is addressing these challenges by advancing the science, building the technology, and assembling the coalition needed to make this potential a reality.
We’ve started in Brazil – one of the world’s most optimal locations for ERW thanks to its tropical soils, strength in agriculture, and clean electricity grid. There, we are building the most ambitious ERW hub to date. This hub will drive the necessary breakthroughs in ERW science, ensuring every tonne of carbon dioxide removed is measured and tracked with certainty.
These insights will power digital tools for the optimization and verification of carbon removal projects, enabling the replicability of these hubs globally If successful, this approach will uniquely and rapidly catalyze global-scale carbon removal, enabling the transformation of [300] such quarries in Brazil and [5,000+] global quarries into carbon removal hubs.
