Job Summary  
 
The Chief of Staff (CoS) serves as a key advisor and strategic partner to the Chief Strategy Officer & President, PatientPoint Focus and Executive Team, helping to drive the organization’s vision and drive operational efficiency across teams. This role involves a mix of strategic planning, cross-team project management, and cross-functional collaboration to support the leadership team in achieving our aggressive business objectives. This role will play an integral part in PatientPoint successfully launching and monetizing new verticals, enabling us to expand our portfolio of solutions to empower our clients and customers on the journey towards better health. 

What You’ll Do  

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Chief Strategy Officer & President, PatientPoint Focus and executive team to develop and implement strategic initiatives; assist in setting long-term goals and key performance indicators.
  • Project Management: Oversee critical projects and initiatives across teams and partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives; proactively track progress and report on key deliverables, facilitating communication and collaboration across teams. 
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between the Chief Strategy Officer & President, PatientPoint Focus and other stakeholders, including employees, board members, CEO and external partners; prepare and organize presentations, reports, and briefing materials for meetings. 
  • Operational Support: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement best practices; support the Chief Strategy Officer & President, PatientPoint Focus in day-to-day operations, managing schedules, priorities, and workflows. Identify areas for operational improvement and have a bias toward action in finding resolutions. 
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture; lead cross-functional teams on special projects or initiatives. Hold teams and team members accountable to goals, timelines and requirements.  
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate collaboration; represent the Chief Strategy Officer & President, PatientPoint Focus in meetings and public engagements as needed. 
  • Empathy: Understanding the mindsets and goals of each of our stakeholders, and leveraging that perspective to make decisions and provide guidance to the team at large.  

What We Need  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field  
  • 10+ years experience in a leadership or managerial role 
  • Experience with the pharmaceutical marketing and media industry 
  • Appetite for fast-paced, results oriented, environment 

Desired Qualifications  

  • MBA preferred 
  • 10+ years experience in a Pharma/Ad Agency environment 
  • 10+ years experience with pharmaceutical commercialization and related activities including clinical trial management and enrollment, market access, patient assistance and patient adherence a huge plus. 
  • Experience with AdTech and Media technologies (programmatic exchanges, data management platforms, private marketplaces) a huge plus.  

 

What You'll Need to Succeed  

  • Proven track record of strategic planning and project management. Ability to deliver complex solutions that require a combination of software and service design to achieve success. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak multiple business languages (IT, Finance, Marketing, etc.) and easily engage, enroll and inspire teams across different backgrounds and functional areas.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret performance data and financial information to draw key conclusions and isolate performance challenges.  
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various departments and levels of the organization. Ability to drive cross-functional teams toward a common goal with a focus on shipping product and learning from the market.  
  • Executive presence and personal agency. Ability to interact with and influence at all levels, inspiring confidence and trust with team members and holding themselves accountable for the success of the programs they touch.  

Base Salary Band: $170,000.00 - $220,00.00
Corporate Bonus Potential Up To 25%
