Job Description
We are actively looking for a talented and experienced Chief of Staff to report directly to the MENA General Manager. This role will help drive execution and foster collaboration across our fast growing organization, providing leverage to our GM and their leadership team across the different departments in the MENA region and with the Head Office. This person will also oversee key strategic projects across different departments and company-wide initiatives, driving relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and ensuring delivery.
This cross-functional Chief of Staff will be a trusted advisor and sounding board for the department’s leadership team, acting as an ‘air traffic controller’, synthesizing information, offering thoughtful guidance and providing a holistic view of priorities. They will also support the team to facilitate roadmapping and business planning sessions, help them with prioritization exercises to ensure time is being used effectively, and coordinate key business management processes (budgets, resourcing, performance).
How you'll make an impact

As a sounding board to the GM and their leadership team, you will help bring new ideas and roadmaps to life

Deal with complex issues and ambiguous situations; reduce them to their simplest expression and drive for clear outcomes

Make prioritization and decision-making more efficient and well-understood by facilitating effective and efficient business planning processes

Collaborate with the Leadership team to identify and monitor OKRs and ensure KPIs are tracked to ensure effective execution across the department

Own business management processes (budget, performance, resourcing) ensuring delivery and streamlining activities
-
Monitor progress of key projects across the department, ensuring key updates / milestones / blockers are escalated as needed

Help drive the flow of information across the department, as well as drafting / overseeing any communications to the department and broader business

Guarantee that internal meetings are well-run, impactful and have clear next steps, delegating work clearly and effectively, including the department’s executive leadership meetings and some internal committee meetings

Ensure the leadership is prepared for all meetings/presentations, working closely with EA on pre-read materials and drafting comms, presentations and speaking points

Manage the GM communication internally and escalate topics quickly and impactfully

Help prioritize and prepare the GM for external speaking engagements

Talent Development: Support talent acquisition and development initiatives to build a high-performing team.Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
Qualifications
What we're looking for
- You have 8+ years of successful leadership experience, ideally with a proven track record as a chief of staff, business manager or operations manager

Critical thinker with demonstrated ability to leverage data into the decision-making process, in order to break down challenges and propose solutions

Excellent project management skills, with experience of driving multi-faceted projects to completion

Effective at leading and implementing change, horizon scanning and experience of organizational design

Highly organized, proactive, efficient and able to solve complex problems
-
Driven, with an ability to switch contexts without losing focus and translate complex information into executive-level updates
-
Excellent communication and relationship building skills to collaborate effectively with the leadership team and across the company at all levels
