  • Help shape quarterly and annual planning, ensuring alignment between revenue goals, operating plans, and cross-functional initiatives
Technical/ Execution
  • Own execution of the highest-priority, cross-functional initiatives sponsored by the CRO—from conception through delivery
  • Establish operating cadences, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms to ensure visibility, accountability, and follow-through on strategic goals
  • Prepare high-quality materials for executive, board, and sales leadership meetings, ensuring the CRO is always informed and prepared
  • Identify inefficiencies across processes, systems, and workflows; design and implement improvements that increase speed and effectiveness
Team / Collaboration
  • Act as a central integrator across Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Product, Finance, and Customer teams to drive alignment and momentum
  • Serve as a communication bridge between the CRO, the Sales leadership team, and broader stakeholders—ensuring clarity, consistency, and context
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships that allow you to influence outcomes without direct authority
Leadership
  • Operate as a trusted advisor, sounding board, and thought partner to the CRO
  • Represent the CRO in select meetings or communications, acting as a proxy when appropriate
  • Protect the CRO’s time and focus by acting as a “goalkeeper”—filtering inputs, prioritizing issues, and escalating what truly matters
Research/Best Practices
  • Bring a consulting-grade, analytical mindset to problem-solving and decision framing
  • Continuously assess how high-performing revenue organizations operate and apply best practices to Later’s context
  • Use data and structured analysis to identify trends, diagnose issues, and recommend actions
What success looks like:
  • The CRO’s strategic priorities are clearly defined, well-communicated, and consistently executed against
  • Cross-functional revenue initiatives move faster, with fewer blockers and stronger alignment
  • The Sales leadership org operates with greater clarity, discipline, and accountability
  • Executive meetings are focused, decision-oriented, and well-prepared
  • Risks and opportunities are surfaced early, not reactively
  • The CRO’s time is protected and spent on the highest-leverage work
What you bring:
  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in strategy, operations, consulting, revenue operations, or a Chief of Staff–type role in a high-growth environment
  • Experience operating at the executive or senior leadership level, supporting a CRO, CCO, COO, or equivalent
  • Proven track record of driving complex, cross-functional initiatives from ambiguity to execution

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor messaging for execs, operators, and cross-functional partners
  • High level of discretion, judgment, and comfort handling sensitive information
  • Bias for action, strong ownership mentality, and comfort operating in fast-paced, changing environments
  • Nice to have: experience in the creator economy
