Job Purpose:
- The Chief Operating Officer (COO) at TERRA SUPREME BATTERY LLC will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain. The COO will drive throughput, efficiency, and yield improvements across all processes, establishing KPIs and accountability systems across departments within a lead-acid manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in scaling operations in a startup or high-growth environment, ensuring the company meets its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all plant operations, ensuring seamless integration of production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain activities.
- Drive throughput, efficiency, and yield improvements across all processes to enhance operational performance.
- Establish KPIs and accountability systems across departments to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Manage and optimize the lead-acid manufacturing environment to meet industry standards and company objectives.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership in scaling operations, particularly in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead the organization through rapid change and growth.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining a focus on quality and safety.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and develop leadership teams to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is required; advanced degree preferred.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in manufacturing leadership roles, such as Director, VP, or COO level.
- Strong background in battery, metals, chemical, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
- Proven experience in scaling operations in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Experience leading teams through rapid change and transformation.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional leadership and management skills with the ability to drive operational excellence.
- Strong analytical skills to establish KPIs and accountability systems across departments.
- Ability to lead and optimize plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain.
- Demonstrated ability to drive throughput, efficiency, and yield improvements across all processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with diverse teams.
