The Role
This is a newly defined executive HR leadership seat, reporting directly to the President and supervising a team of two Regional HR Business Partners and a home office HR Operations Coordinator, with professional oversight and ownership across all centers. You'll set HR strategy for the organization, coach and develop center-level HR Managers, and serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership on the people issues that matter most in long-term care. This role is for someone who wants to build, not maintain.
What You'll Do
- Set HR strategy and lead workforce initiatives that improve retention, engagement, and performance, partnering closely with Operations
- Supervise and develop the Regional HRBPs and HR Operations Coordinator; coach center-level HR Managers to operate at a high level
- Own home office HR functions: recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and leave administration including FMLA
- Oversee compliance across all twelve centers: reviews, licensure tracking, personnel files, leave tracking, and benefits testing/filing
- Lead sensitive employee relations matters and investigations to resolution
- Build career paths and leadership development programs that support CCR's culture of care
- Review HR policies and benefit offerings annually; maintain current knowledge of employment law
- Manage HR vendor relationships and audit center HR functions for consistency
You'll thrive here if you:
- Have a track record of progressive HR leadership and are ready to build, not just maintain
- Are willing to drive change when change is what the organization needs
- Have the confidence to speak up for the good of the people and the organization, even when it's not the popular call
- Can think critically, use data to make informed decisions, drive innovation, and be a partner to leadership and a voice for the people who care for our residents
- Enjoy coming into the office daily and proactively contributing to the team
