Job Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be dynamic
and results-driven, able to lead the financial operations of the company in
Saudi Arabia. As they expand our presence in the Kingdom and align with Vision
2030, the CFO will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy and
ensuring sustainable growth. This is a critical leadership position requiring a
strategic thinker with deep experience in financial management, compliance with
local regulations, and strong leadership capabilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership & Strategy:
Lead the development of long-term financial strategies that align with the company’s growth goals and Vision 2030.
Provide insightful recommendations to the CEO and board of directors on both operational and financial matters. - Budgeting & Forecasting:
Oversee the preparation of detailed budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company objectives.
Regularly assess performance against the budget and adjust strategies to optimize financial outcomes. - Financial Reporting & Compliance:
Ensure timely, accurate, and transparent financial reporting in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) regulations.
Maintain full compliance with Zakat, VAT, and other local tax obligations. - Risk Management & Internal Controls:
Develop and implement effective risk management policies and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Monitor financial risks and ensure the company is compliant with all regulatory and legal requirements, including Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) and Capital Market Authority (CMA) regulations. - Capital & Investment Management:
Lead capital-raising efforts, manage cash flow, and develop strategies for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
Ensure optimal capital structure and financing strategies to support growth and expansion in Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC region. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, government agencies, and investors.
Represent the company in discussions with regulatory bodies and drive initiatives to secure government incentives in alignment with Vision 2030. - Team Leadership & Development:
Build and manage a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.
Ensure compliance with Saudization requirements and promote the growth of local talent within the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance,
Accounting, Economics, or related field;
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred
Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, SOCPA, or ACCA are highly valued
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in
senior financial roles, with at least 5 years in a CFO or equivalent capacity,
ideally in the manufacturing or FMCG sectors Extensive experience in Saudi
Arabia or the GCC, with deep knowledge of local financial regulations, including
Zakat, VAT, and tax laws Proven track record in managing large-scale financial
operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital management
- Experience with financial
restructuring, capital raising, and partnering with local and international
financial institutions Strong leadership and team-building skills, with
experience in managing diverse and high-performing teams
- Fluency
in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Master's degree or MBA
- Professional certifications (CPA, CFA, SOCPA, ACCA)
- Minimum 5+ years in senior financial roles with at least 5 years as CFO or equivalent
- Extensive experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC with deep knowledge of local financial regulations
- Knowledge of IFRS, SOCPA, Zakat, VAT, and local tax laws
- Proven experience managing large-scale financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and capital management
- Experience with financial restructuring, capital raising, and partnering with local and international financial institutions
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, experience managing diverse, high-performing teams
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of Arabic
