The role
We are actively looking for Chief Financial Officer to help lead the finance, business development and procurement teams in Romania and Serbia. The main part of this role will be developing and implementing a strategic finance plan that will support the overall direction, goals and long term development in both countries.
You will be part of the leadership team and your contribution will be crucial to help meet both the short term and long term goals for the countries. You will be managing a large team and making sure that all legal and regulatory information is completed on time as well as allocating resources to achieve goals and objectives of the Business Unit.
You will ensure the integrated co- ordination of the three teams in both countries and act as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team. You will be contributing to the maintenance of financial discipline across the organisation and provide transparency and compliance.
You will provide financial insight, strategic support and involvement in cross functional and regional initiatives when required to contribute to broader business unit success. You will provide long term value to the business units by contributing to the long term planning for both countries taking advantage of regional support and long term aims of both the region and globally.
This is a complex high profile role that will require someone who has the financial acumen and experience to manage multiple teams and complex issues for long term gain.
So, who are we looking for?
Key Skills and Experience include:
- Bachelors degree in Economics is essential and a Masters in Finance is preferred
- ACCA qualification is also mandatory as well as a Certified Expert Accountant
- Extensive finance background with a demonstrable track record in senior leadership
- Experience of managing international teams across different jurisdictions and business units
- Experience of budgeting, reporting, financial analysis and business performance management
- The ability to provide an established framework to project management and the ability to manage multiple projects at any one time
- It is essential that you have a C1 proficiency in English
