JOB OVERVIEW
Lead the company's financial strategy, operations, and investment activities across its Mobile App and AI App portfolio, ensuring effective financial planning, resource allocation, and governance to support sustainable business growth and IPO readiness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Strategy & Planning
- Collaborate with the Chairman/CEO and Board of Directors to establish financial strategies, capital structures, and long-term investment priorities across the company's Mobile App and AI App portfolio.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) across hundreds of products, ensuring effective resource allocation to opportunities with the highest potential returns.
- Develop and maintain financial models using the company's in-house FP&A system to support decision-making, from daily OKRs and product portfolio management to M&A evaluations.
- Lead IPO preparation by establishing the financial infrastructure, reporting standards, and governance framework required for a public listing within the next 2–4 years.
Financial Operations & Controls
- Oversee accounting, taxation, treasury, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with international and Vietnamese accounting standards.
- Establish and continuously enhance financial controls, processes, and systems to support a rapidly scaling, multi-product organization.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations across global entities and multiple revenue streams, including advertising monetization, in-app purchases (IAP), and subscriptions.
Fundraising & Investor Relations
- Lead fundraising initiatives and maintain relationships with investors, banks, and financial partners.
- Prepare and present financial materials for Board meetings, investor updates, and due diligence processes.
- Support the evaluation and execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnerships, and strategic investments.
Team Building & Leadership
- Build and manage a team of finance, accounting, and FP&A professionals.
- Mentor and develop team members to establish a world-class, high-performing finance function.
- Represent the company at local and international forums to exchange knowledge, strengthen brand visibility, and attract talent.
Requirements
- Experience working at a US-based technology company, a Southeast Asian unicorn, or a comparable high-growth organization.
- 7–10 years of experience in finance, accounting, treasury, or investment, with demonstrated leadership experience as a CFO or in a senior finance leadership position.
- Strong first-principles analytical thinking, with the ability to develop original financial strategies and models rather than relying solely on established industry practices.
- Ability to apply ZIZO (Zoom In, Zoom Out) thinking to complex problems while balancing short-term financial objectives with long-term strategic priorities.
- Recognized as a trusted and respected thought leader, with the ability to influence business and technology leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mobile applications, gaming, or digital consumer products.
- A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline from a world-class university. CPA or CFA qualifications are an advantage.
- Ability to collaborate with AI Engineers and develop AI automation or AI engineering products.
