Aspire Health and Community Services is actively seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic, executive-level direction for both long- and short-term financial success for our diverse mental health organization. This role involves the development of financial strategy and oversight of finance operations in a complex healthcare environment. Candidates should possess exceptional problem-solving skills, vendor management experience, and a passion for fostering vertical and horizontal teamwork. Experience in financial resilience is preferred.

Responsibilities include driving long-range financial planning, capital budgeting, and managing direct month- and year-end closing processes, as well as auditing and analyzing programmatic financial health. This role directly oversees the finance and billing departments. A deep knowledge of technical efficiencies will be advantageous.

Requirements:

  • 12 years in senior financial management, with a preference for non-profit or public sector accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or MBA is highly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in GAAP standards, fund accounting, and federal/state non-profit tax laws.
  • Strong forecasting, strategic partnership, and cross-functional communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in financial management within healthcare organizations.
  • Must exhibit strong leadership and collaborative skills to effectively supervise the finance department and contribute to the executive leadership team.
  • Strong financial acumen and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses.  Annual ranges listed are based on a full-time, 40 hours per week position.

Salary Range
$185,000$225,000 USD

Skills Required

  • Minimum 12 years in senior financial management (preference for non-profit or public sector accounting)
