Vishay Tianjin is currently seeking applicants for a senior engineer of Research and Development to join our growing Vishay General Semiconductor (China). Responsible for silver sintering technology development as well as involving in new product development projects.

Vishay General Semiconductor (China) Co., Ltd. is one of the TOP 100 enterprises in Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area, Tianjin, PRC. There are around 1900 employees currently work here.
What you will be doing:
- Be responsible for silver sintering technology development, utilizing engineering tools- such as DFMEA and technical tools to do feasibility study and design verification to ensure product quality, performance and competitive cost .
- Develop and conduct technical experiments to select designs, materials, technologies and problem solving, support new chip development.
- Collaborate with functional engineering teams as well as external vendors and partners.
- Providing technical support for production regarding equipment, tooling, parts and process.
- Assists in designing and developing electronic components, device evaluation and characterization.
What you will bring along:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, Major in semiconductor physics or knowledge of material.
- 3 years above of experience in product design or engineering field preferably automotive electronic products.
- Good knowledge of packaging materials and manufacturing methods including prototyping, process development and mass production.
- Capable to implement new material, soldering process, lead frame for new product.
- Deep understanding of engineering fundamentals and ability to apply concepts to new problems not listed in engineering textbooks. Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to use statistical tools and techniques.
- Good communication skills both of English and Chinese.
