This position leads process design and application engineering for fluidized bed boiler systems (main fuel Bio-mass and waste fuel) in localization projects, focusing on thermal cycles, auxiliaries, and overall performance. It ensures compliance with international standards while adapting processes for Asian markets.
in this position you are required to Lead Process design and application engineering for fluidized bed boiler systems (main fuel Bio-mass and waste fuel) for efficient localization. The role involves performing boiler sizing based on design guidelines (specifically prepared for Localization project) in consultation with Product specialists (Nordics) complete with boiler peripherals. Necessary trade-off, cost of design exercises to be performed at all stages during product development leading to efficient localization.
Perform design calculations for power boiler & all accessories - CFB & BFB (using in-house program tools, design sheets)
Prepare technical specification for proposal document including deviation and clarifications to the tender document
Prepare technical specification for the auxiliary equipment & TBE (Technical bid evaluation) for the offers from suppliers.
Lead and perform process engineering activities such as, creating PI&Ds, pipe sizing, pump capacity calculations, valve specification, safety valves specification etc.
Provide inputs to Instruments and control valves/dampers.
Perform HAZOP study together other disciplines and/or customer
Identify and work in cooperation with sub suppliers for the product localization
To support erection and commissioning team for trouble shooting
To succeed this role, you will need:
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical) from reputed university. ME/M.Tech degree is added advantage.
Experience: Minimum relevant experience – 10 years
Possess knowledge of thermal plant cycle heat / mass balances.
To possess knowledge of Process design of Steam boilers and and its auxillaries
To posess knowledge on heat transfer, heat and mass balance and chemical stichiometric calculations
To possess knowledge on various flue gas emission requirement and their measurement standards globally
Proficiency in Microsoft office tools (ACAD – added advantage)
Knowledge on ASME/EN Standards – related with boiler efficiency & emission controls.
Compliance to company’s code of conduct and HSEQ requirements.

Skills Required
- B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical
- ME/M.Tech (added advantage)
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience
- Experience with thermal plant cycle heat and mass balances
- Process design knowledge for steam boilers and auxiliaries (CFB & BFB)

- Experience participating in HAZOP studies
- Ability to support erection and commissioning teams for troubleshooting
