Your daily adventure at Storio:
- Develop and champion a compelling vision for our platform’s future, encompassing technology, platforms, and data architecture.
- Translate business objectives into a robust technology roadmap, balancing value creation and technical debt management.
- Analyze industry trends and emerging technologies to inform platform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
- Lead the design and evolution of our platform architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and adherence to best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to engineering teams during implementation.
- Design and implement decision-making systems and architectural governance frameworks.
- Drive the evaluation and recommendation of new technologies and tools.
- Provide thought leadership and influence technology decisions across the organization.
- Drive modern engineering practices and platform architecture improvements.
- Act as a subject matter expert, mentor principal engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and technology partners.

What you bring to the party:
- Significant experience in software engineering and architecture, with a focus on e-commerce platforms.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, high-performance, and secure systems.
- Proven track record of working in a leading role, influencing teams without direct reports.
- Deep understanding of modern architectural patterns, including microservices and cloud-native architectures.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), databases (SQL and NoSQL), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for technology and 1 a desire to stay ahead of industry trends. Demonstrated ability to influence business decisions and drive technology strategy.
