Key Responsibilities
1. Organization of Accounting and Tax Records
- Organizing and overseeing accounting and tax records in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan
- Developing the organization's accounting policy
- Ensuring correct recording of business transactions in the accounting accounts
- Monitoring the timely and accurate preparation of primary accounting documents
- Preparing and submitting accounting (financial), tax, statistical, and other mandatory reports
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of reporting data
- Monitoring deadlines for submitting reports to regulatory authorities
- Monitoring compliance with financial and cash discipline
- Monitoring the efficient use of financial, material, and labor resources
- Analyzing the organization's financial and business activities
- Participating in financial planning and budgeting
- Monitoring the correct calculation and payment of taxes, fees, and insurance contributions
- Interacting with tax authorities, funds, and other regulatory bodies
- Preparing documents and explanations based on audit results
- Leading the accounting department's work and allocating duties among staff
- Monitoring the quality of subordinate employees' work
- Ensuring professional development of accounting staff
- In-depth knowledge of personal income taxation
- Organizing a system of internal financial control
- Preventing financial violations and minimizing tax and financial risks
- Participating in the development of internal regulations and procedures
- Providing management with reliable financial information for decision-making
- Participating in the preparation of contracts (financial section)
- Monitoring settlements with suppliers, contractors, customers, and employees
- Ensuring the safekeeping of accounting documents, reports, and databases
- Organizing archival storage of documents within established timeframes
- Complying with requirements for the protection of confidential information.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of accounting
- Knowledge of the tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan (VAT, corporate income tax, simplified tax regime, insurance contributions, etc.)
- Knowledge of labor legislation and payroll calculation
- Knowledge of civil and financial law (in relation to contracts and settlements)
- Proficiency in 1C, electronic document management (EDM), Excel, financial analysis, and budgeting
- High level of personal accountability for results
- Maintaining confidentiality of financial information
- Discipline and adherence to deadlines
- Ability to work with large volumes of information
- Ability to identify errors, risks, and discrepancies
- Skill in structuring data and processes
- Accuracy in calculations and documents

- More than 5 years of experience in a similar Chief Accountant role
- In-depth knowledge of accounting
- Knowledge of the tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including VAT, corporate income tax, simplified tax regimes, and insurance contributions
- Knowledge of labor legislation and payroll calculation
- Knowledge of civil and financial law related to contracts and settlements
