Job Summary
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the academic direction, curriculum design, and
instructional practices across all the schools. Ensure academic excellence, consistency in
delivery, and alignment with national and international standards, while promoting innovation
and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
● Oversee the development, implementation, and review of curricula across all schools to
ensure alignment with educational standards and the school’s vision.
● Provide leadership in academic strategy, teaching practices, and assessment
frameworks across all campuses.
● Supervise and support Curriculum Coordinators to maintain high academic standards.
● Monitor teaching quality, student performance, and learning outcomes through regular
evaluations and school visits.
● Lead professional development planning and implementation for academic staff in
collaboration with CHRO.
● Guide the integration of new technologies, innovative teaching methods, and inclusive
education practices.
● Coordinate internal and external assessments, examinations, and bench marking
initiatives.
● Review and analyze academic data to inform policy decisions and improvement plans.
● Develop academic policies and procedures to ensure consistency and excellence across
all campuses.
● Support schools in achieving and maintaining accreditation and meeting regulatory
requirements.
● Collaborate with Heads of Schools on academic staffing needs and participate in
recruitment of Curriculum Coordinators.
● Provide regular reports and academic updates to the CEO as required.
Requirements
Educational Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related academic field
● Master’s degree in Curriculum Development, Educational Leadership, or a related field
Related Job Experience: Number of years and nature of previous work experience required to
successfully perform the job
● Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior academic leadership role
● Proven experience in curriculum design, academic planning, and school improvement
● Experience in international or multi-curriculum environments is an added advantage
Additional Skills/Competencies relevant for the job
● Strong leadership and team-building skills
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to analyze academic data and drive data-informed decisions
● Familiarity with international curriculum frameworks (e.g., Cambridge, IB, etc.)
● Passion for educational innovation and continuous learning
● Strong organizational and time-management skills
Skills Required
