Job Summary
1. To perform inspection, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment such as induction motor, electrical panel, transformer, lighting/socket outlet and other electrical equipment’s
2.To perform inspection, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation equipment’s such DCS/PLC, packing machine, Okura robot, wrapping machine, Control valve& actuator, level sensor, temperature sensor, pressure sensor and other instrument equipment’s.
3. Work closely with Electrical Engineer to review and evaluate electrical system
4. Daily/routine inspection on the electrical main switch board, transformer, distribution board , 3 phase motor, bonding& grounding and others electrical equipment
5. Support the Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM) to ensure plant electrical is maintained effectively and comply with energy commission requirement.
6. Assist and liaise effectively with the visiting electrical consultant during bi-monthly visit to ensure up to date compliance of all the electrical equipment in LV and HV switch room.
7. Attends to machine breakdown as well as any issues arises at the plant and report accordingly to the immediate supervisor.
8. To supervise electrical contractors to ensure all safety procedures are followed
9. To supervise all project related to electrical works to ensure works are done according to
specification and regulation.
10.To perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance, and improvement especially in electrical section
11. To attend all other duties assigned from time to time by the Electrical Engineer
