Responsibilities,
Conducting the Issuer/Acquirer chargeback operations
Examining and reporting chargeback and objections from banks and providing information to the banks
Initiating the review process of cardholder transactions which object to the payment as a result of the chargeback
Requesting necessary information and documents from the bank and the merchant where the payment is made and managing the process between the merchant and the bank (cargo tracking report, information about whether the transaction is carried out with 3DS, other information about the payment, address, paid fee, API, etc.)
By looking at the frequency of chargeback transactions of the merchant, to block money transfers as much as the amount received, to stop working with the merchant for a limited or indefinite period if necessary.
Following the chargeback processes in the coordination with the Fraud team
Reporting on daily, weekly and monthly chargeback transactions and payments
Following the updates of Visa / MasterCard / BKM
Qualifications,
1+ years of experience in a fraud or chargeback processes role at a payments company, bank, or online marketplace
Has a clear understanding of the dispute resolution process and rules and its guidelines
Has knowledge of e-commerce trends and payment systems is required
Has the ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms
Self-motivation and self-responsibility the ability to learn quickly and work independently, with minimum direction
Can be flexible to work weekends, holidays and/or extended hours as needed
Ability to work independently and in a team
Excellent problem-solving skills and clear logical thinking
