As Charge Nurse, you'll be the go-to leader on your shift, helping to coordinate clinical activities, support staff, and ensure smooth operations. What You’ll Do
- Lead and support nursing staff during shifts, promoting a positive and efficient work environment.
- Coordinate patient care activities and ensure high-quality nursing practice standards are maintained.
- Assist with staff scheduling, conflict resolution, and mentoring team members.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
- Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and make critical decisions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Document and report clinical information accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Proven nursing experience, preferably with leadership or charge nurse responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications are a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
