Chargé(e) de projets

Le candidat aura comme principale responsabilité de mener à bien l’exécution des projets de structures vitrées (murs-rideaux, pare-soleils, lanterneaux, vitrage spécialisé) sous sa supervision. Relevant du directeur des projets architecturaux, le candidat travaillera conjointement avec l’équipe technique, la comptabilité, le département de fabrication et l’équipe d’ingénierie.

Ce que vous ferez

• Coordonner les activités d’installation sur le chantier en assurant un encadrement des sous-traitants et des fournisseurs.
• Coordonner et planifier les approvisionnements, les activités de fabrication en fonction de l’évolution des chantiers et des échéanciers.
• Effectuer le suivi des coûts des projets, facturation ainsi que des échéanciers.
• Assurer une rentabilité financière des projets et suivi des extras.
• Réviser les plans de projet et suivi des approbations des professionnels.
• Prendre les mesures sur le chantier lorsque requis.
• Organiser les réunions internes et les réunions de chantier.
• Préparer les documents du projet tel que les dénonciations, documents de fins des travaux et autres documents.

Ce qu’il vous faut pour réussir:

• BAC en génie civil ou certificat en gestion de projets – PMI ou PMP.
• Entre 1 an et 5 ans d’expérience en gestion de projets dans la construction ou un domaine connexe. Une expérience en gestion de projets d’envergure dans le domaine du mur-rideau est un atout.
• Bilinguisme (français et anglais) autant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
• Habilités à lire des plans et devis.
• Habilités à travailler dans un environnement de type entrepreneurial, dans un contexte d’évolution et de croissance.
• Leadership, dynamisme, être proactif.
• Entrepreneuriat et sens des affaires prononcé.
• Bon communicateur et doit aimer le travail d’équipe.
• Esprit analytique et capacité à réagir rapidement.
• Capacité à travailler sous pression.
• Forte gestion des priorités et habileté à mener plusieurs projets simultanément.

Rémunération :

Cette fourchette est fournie par Allegion. Votre rémunération réelle sera basée sur vos compétences et votre expérience.

Project Manager

The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful completion of glazing projects (curtain walls, sunshades, skylights, specialized glazing) under his or her supervision. Reporting to the Director of Architectural Projects, the candidate will work closely with the technical team, the accounting department, the fabrication department, and the engineering team.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate installation activities on the job site by overseeing subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate and plan procurement and manufacturing activities based on job site progress and schedules.
• Monitor project costs, invoicing, and schedules.
• Ensure the financial profitability of projects and track change orders.
• Review project plans and track approvals from professionals.
• Take measurements on-site as required.
• Organize internal meetings and site meetings.
• Prepare project documents such as notices of termination, completion documents, and other relevant documents

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a project management certification—PMI or PMP.
• Between 1 and 5 years of project management experience in construction or a related field. Experience managing large-scale projects in the curtain wall sector is a plus.
• Bilingualism (French and English) in both spoken and written communication.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment, in a context of change and growth.
• Leadership, dynamism, and a proactive attitude.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and strong business acumen.
• Good communication skills and a passion for teamwork.
• Analytical mindset and ability to react quickly.
• Ability to work under pressure.
