We’re looking for an experienced, people-focused Chapter Lead, Marcom Campaigns to join our team for a 12-month period. This role is the driving strategic communications and creative force at the heart of our center of expertise. You will lead the integrated Marketing Communications efforts across 4 distinct brands, transforming business objectives into impactful campaigns that build brand consideration and acquire new customers.

In this agile leadership role, you will coach, mentor and act as the strategic advisor to 6 Marcom Chapter Members deployed across various squads. You will empower them to deliver high-impact communications strategies and campaigns that resonate with our audience and push our business forward. You’re a servant leader who balances deep expertise in communications strategy and an eye for best-in-class creativity, with a passion for nurturing talent. 

Note: This is a 12-month temporary position for maternity leave coverage, with potential opportunities to evolve within the company following the term.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The "How": People, Practices, and Capability (70%)

  • Talent Development & Coaching: Lead and coach a team of 6 Chapter Members through consistent 1-1 mentorship, focusing on the development of critical role-specific skills. You will be responsible for identifying skill gaps and organizing both formal training and on-the-job learning opportunities to support continuous personal growth and clear paths for future career progression.

  • Operational Excellence & Evolution: Lead the evolution of Marcom Ways of Working by standardizing processes and codifying best practices to improve speed-to-market and operational efficiency. Establish frameworks that empower Chapter members to operate as autonomous functional experts within their respective squads.

  • Insights & Creative Excellence: Maintain a “finger on the pulse” of advertising trends, competitive strategies and identify rich consumer insights needed to push the boundaries of our work. You will be responsible for guiding your Chapter to continuously optimize and elevate our campaign output, ensuring we consistently deliver breakthrough, best-in-class creative that’s innovative, cuts through the noise and sets new standards of excellence. 

  • Collaborative Feedback Loops: Maintain a strong feedback loop with Product Owners and Crew Leads to ensure individual performance management is informed by both functional craft and day-to-day delivery.

  • Agency Management: Maintain constructive and collaborative relationships with external agency partners to ensure creative output meets brand standards and business objectives.
     

The "What": Hands-on Contribution (30%)

  • Strategic Campaign Orchestration: Lead the overarching North American Marcom strategy and integrated campaign calendar across our 4 distinct brands. You will partner closely with Product Owners, Brand, Media, Social Media, Digital and Base Communications teams to ensure a unified communications strategy is seamlessly executed across the customer journey.

  • Squad Integration & Execution: Serve as an active, hands-on member of an agile squad, contributing directly to growth goals and leading the execution of Marcom deliverables.

  • Data-Driven Optimization: Partner with Media & Performance, and Insights teams to translate campaign performance data and market trends into actionable optimizations that improve ROI and brand health metrics

  • Financial Stewardship: Oversee budget management across all North American brands.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of relevant Marketing Communications experience (Marketing, Communications Strategy, Brand Management, or Agency side).

  • 3+ years of proven experience managing and coaching high-performing teams.

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; bilingualism (English & French) is a strong asset.

  • Experience in Telecommunications and Agile organizations is a plus. 

  • Experience managing external agency partners.
