The Trimble Field Systems group is hiring for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Channel Support Specialist to provide day to day support for a range of channel management activities, tasks and projects.
What You Will Do
The role will be focused on working with the Field Systems Channel Enablement and Channel Expansion teams as well as others across the organization to support, manage and deliver on a wide range of day to day activities and projects — including daily sales and dealer support needs, dealer contracts and other dealer support tasks.
This is an excellent early career opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain and develop experience in channel management, contract management, market analysis and other channel support operations. It provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in channel management and sales operations within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be motivated and passionate about working as part of a team driving activities through to completion.

Providing timely day to day support to the Channel Enablement & Channel Expansion teams

Closely working with sales, channel enablement and legal to provide detailed support for contracts, amendments and other legal documentation, leveraging existing templates and processes

Supporting and leading the work for projects and activities that enable sales operations and channel enablement to achieve their objectives and improve channel capability and performance

Providing support for the coordination and management of channel expansion and transitions — reseller additions, mergers, splits and cancellation

Providing support for analysis of financial and market data specific to a topic, issue or need that creates insights to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sector’s go to market strategies

Serve as the point person for Channel Enablement & Channel Expansion to collect and route requests associated with the channel

Working on tasks and problems of diverse scope where a clear answer is not always apparent, providing analysis of key data / inputs and recommendations

Leverages existing processes and follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing problems from which answers can be readily obtained

Working with the channel development and sales operations teams to help vet and onboard new dealers
-
Collecting, managing and asking questions to confirm details in order to clearly present key information
-
Ensuring effective and timely communication with stakeholders for specific activities and projects with the appropriate level of frequency and formality

Clarifying problem statements, understanding objectives, supporting the development of project plans as well as working with the team to monitor / track milestones, task completion and change management activities

Supporting and leading the development of tools, templates, processes and other materials as needed

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
