Channel Sales Manager HPE Hybrid Cloud (f/m/d)

  

This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

   

Data Services and the underlying Storage Solution are a key investment area for HPE. Over the past years we have invested significantly into R&D and acquisitions for new technologies enabling a software-driven, cloud-operated portfolio based on modern cloud-native platforms and integrated cloud-enabled Data Services. Our portfolio doesn’t stop in the Data Center but provides hybrid solutions that span from Edge-to-Cloud.

To bring these benefits to even more customers, we are expanding our channel organization and are looking for a Channel Sales Manager Hybrid Cloud to help drive accelerated growth and transformation.

You will:  

  • Communicate direction to the team in line with the Channel Org and BUs vision and strategy and manage the sales motion towards growth and increased profitability.
  • Create a high performing team through recruiting, developing, and retaining talent.
  • Coach to assure best in class individual and team sales performance.
  • Engage partner executives to understand their and customers’ business context, build trust, and deliver HPE’s value proposition in line with that.
  • Create early-stage opportunities by managing top customers’ and partner executive level relationships.
  • Partner with BU leaders in GreenLake and Storage and key stakeholders to maximize cross-HPE team efficiency and customer success.
  • Help the team to bust barriers and overcome obstacles.
  • Establish sales methodology for end-to-end sales process management.
  • Manage sales planning and follow up to ensure consistent execution.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and won/loss deal analysis into the broader team.

If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education…

  • University or Master’s degree preferred
  • +10 years of working experience in an IT presales environment preferred
  • First experience in people management/leadership
  • Demonstrated excellence in technical sales, ideally with an ASE Certification
  • Technical knowledge of our product offerings
  • Channel focus and experience preferred
  • Ability to develop, mentor, inspire, and motivate people and create a winning team
  • Dynamic character challenging status quo and fostering a creative mindset within a group
  • Excellent communication skills to navigate in a complex matrix organization
  • High level of responsibility and confidence
  • Business fluency in German and English language
