As a key member of the Paymode Channel Sales Team, the Channel Sales Executive (CSE) drives new revenue through Bottomline's strategic banking partners. This consultative sales role focuses on enabling partner teams, identifying opportunities within bank portfolios, and guiding prospects through the sales cycle from discovery to close.
The CSE serves as a trusted advisor to bank sales teams, relationship managers, and solution engineers, combining strong relationship-building skills with deep product expertise to help clients modernize their payment and accounts payable processes. Success in this role requires a proven ability to influence stakeholders, manage complex sales cycles, and consistently achieve growth objectives.
How You'll ContributeDrive Revenue Growth:
- Generate new business through strategic bank partnerships and targeted prospecting.
- Identify, qualify, and advance opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Deliver compelling value-based presentations to finance and treasury executives.
- Collaborate with partners to build pipeline and accelerate deal velocity.
Build trusted Partnerships
- Develop strong relationships with bank sales teams, relationship managers, and key stakeholders.
- Train and enable partner teams to effectively position and sell Paymode solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
- Foster executive-level relationships that support long-term growth.
Own the Sales Process
- Lead opportunities through discovery, qualification, proposal, contracting, and handoff.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and activity tracking in Salesforce.
- Manage multiple opportunities across varying sales stages.
- Provide regular updates and insights to leadership.
Deliver Solution Expertise
- Lead or support product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
- Translate business challenges into impactful payment automation solutions.
