The Role

Are you ready to join a leading Human Risk Management cybersecurity company and make an impact in the channel sales ecosystem? Mimecast is seeking a Channel Sales Engineer to support our North American Channel Sales Organization. This is your chance to work with cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, build strategic partner relationships, and drive technical enablement at scale.

What You’ll Do:

Technical Execution & Support

  • Collaborate with the Senior Channel Sales Engineer and Channel Account Managers (CAMs) to execute technical strategies for partners.
  • Provide tactical support for partner-led demonstrations, trials, and proof-of-value engagements.
  • Act as the SME for Mimecast’s Incydr and Aware solutions, delivering technical guidance and enablement.
  • Lead workshops and bootcamps to qualify use cases and meet customer needs.

Partner Enablement & Engagement

  • Build and manage relationships with strategic partners, ensuring they have the technical resources to succeed.
  • Deliver hands-on workshops, training, and scalable enablement programs to empower partners.
  • Support the development of scalable partner services and troubleshooting programs.

Event Participation

  • Represent Mimecast at partner and industry events, including Partner Kickoffs, webinars, and regional events.
  • Deliver impactful technical presentations and demonstrations to engage and educate partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with CAMs, sales, marketing, and product teams to align on partner initiatives.
  • Provide actionable feedback to improve Mimecast solutions and partner programs.

Project & Program Support

  • Support the execution of partner programs and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company goals.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of cybersecurity, email technologies, SaaS solutions, and human risk management. Experience with DLP, CASB, and UAB solutions is a plus.
  • Channel Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with partner business models and sales motions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales engineering, technical support, or partner enablement, preferably in cybersecurity or SaaS.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Values Alignment: Embody Mimecast’s core values of collaboration, innovation, and resilience.

The US base salary range for this position is $72,000- $144,000 base + benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. This position may also be eligible for bonus, incentive plans, and other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered.
