Position Overview

The Channel Relationship Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing relationships with key channel partners. This role involves working closely with partners to drive sales, improve performance, and ensure alignment with company goals and strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of channel sales dynamics.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key channel partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support.
  • Conduct regular meetings with partners to review performance, discuss opportunities, and address challenges.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop and implement strategic plans that drive mutual growth and profitability.
  • Identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion within the partner network.
  • Analyze market trends and partner performance to recommend adjustments to strategies.
  • Work with partners to set sales targets, develop promotional campaigns, and drive product adoption.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to enhance results.
  • Assist partners in developing and executing effective sales strategies and tactics.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product management, customer support) to ensure alignment and address partner needs.
  • Communicate partner feedback and market insights to internal stakeholders to influence product and strategy development.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to enhance partner engagement and satisfaction.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to partner performance and channel sales.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management on channel health, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve partner outcomes.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in channel management, sales, or business development.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
