The Akamai Partner Program Team supports global partners, fostering growth and advancing Akamai's market objectives. This role involves scaling, operating, and enhancing distributor and reseller partner programs as a Channel Programs & Operations Manager II.

This position focuses on advancing Akamai's partner programs through collaboration with Sales, IT, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Product Management teams. Responsibilities include enhancing program scalability, partner enablement, and operational efficiency for our partner Ecosystem.
As a Channel Programs & Ops Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and improve existing improving partner programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and partner needs..
- Leading new initiatives from inception to execution, driving operational improvements and process efficiencies
- Collaborating closely with strategic partners to gather requirements, design processes, and implement scalable, streamlined renewal and program initiatives effectively.
- Implementing partner enablement strategies, ensuring Distributors and Resellers possess essential training, resources, and tools to effectively sell and deliver Akamai solutions.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including Partner Account Executives and leadership, to align program strategy with business priorities
- Working cross-functionally to define program scope, success metrics, and execution plans
- Tracking and analyze partner performance across key metrics and KPIs, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Delivering partner-focused assistance as required to address and resolve partners' issues, questions, and concerns promptly and effectively

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 5+ years of experience in program management, channel operations, partner programs, or partner enablement, ideally within the technology or cybersecurity industry.
- Have a Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma or equivalent professional background.
- Demonstrate experience supporting partner models to effectively contribute to organizational goals and collaborative partnerships
- Be detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to use both qualitative and quantitative insights to solve complex business challenges.
- Have communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and drive results in a matrixed environment.
- Excel in a dynamic environment, managing shifting priorities effectively while adapting to changing business requirements and objectives.
- Be comfortable working in an international environment, engaging with stakeholders across regions and time zones
- Be well versed in Salesforce, Partner Portals, and Metrics/KPI dashboards
