The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our NA Channel Marketing Team as a Channel Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing marketing strategy, planning and campaign execution with, to and through a set of strategic technology channel partners to drive demand, create new pipeline, recruit new partners and grow the existing business in support of the overall channel sales growth goals. 

The Channel Marketing Manager will work with a set of focus partners across Reseller, TSD, Distributor and Agent/Technology Advisor partner segments to develop agreed-to co-marketing plans covering a strategic set of marketing campaigns and activities.

You will collaborate closely with various internal teams and external partners to help create (or 'partnerize') compelling content, campaigns, programs and events that align with our newly launched brand values and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in channel marketing planning and strategy, campaign development, program execution, incentive and offer development, budget management, measuring results/ROI and partner relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our channel sales team to understand business goals and create a marketing and investment strategy aligned with company and partner objectives
  • Develop and execute marketing plans working with, to and through focus channel partner/s and 8x8 channel sales
  • Develop impactful, scalable, multi-channel campaigns to support deal registrations, create pipeline, accelerate bookings and grow partner recruitment that partners can utilize in an integrated approach to meet joint goals and objectives
  • Evaluate, create and leverage content including digital assets, articles, blog posts, case studies, newsletters, videos, infographics, flyers, landing pages, and social media posts to engage partners and drive key messages. 
  • ‘Partnerize’ existing 8x8 campaigns and adapt it for effective co-marketing with partners. 
  • Collaborate with partners to develop co-branded marketing materials, content, and campaigns to support a unique joint value proposition. Foster/develop partners capabilities to enhance their skillset, maximize opportunities and create joint value
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as the Channel Sales/Ops/Enablement, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, Customer Advocacy and the broader marketing organization to identify content opportunities, offers and incentives that power campaigns, programs and events and ensure consistency in messaging across all channels.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance, including engagement, conversion rates and ROI, of campaigns, programs, events and activities, providing insights and recommendations for optimization to drive engagement and achieve OKRs.
  • Cultivate brand advocates among our partners by providing them with valuable assets/resources, support, and opportunities for collaboration by leveraging the new 8x8 brand message and value proposition
  • Own the process of engaging, communicating and training the partners on new campaigns, this will include with and through the 8x8 PartnerXchange (partner portal), Marketing as a Service (MaaS) program, partner-specific meetings and scalable partner webinars
  • Contribute and support overall channel marketing efforts with ideas, innovations and creativity as part of providing value to the extended global channel marketing team
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in channel marketing to enhance our strategies and tactics.

Qualifications

  • Experienced in developing fully integrated partner marketing plans to drive pipeline and recruitment with the focus on the customer journey
  • Experienced in delivering results-driven marketing plans with Reseller, TSD, Distributor, Agent/TA channel partners.
  • The ability to own and influence the situation and key meetings, being the subject matter expert, and driving the marketing plan to completion
  • Use of CRM and Lead management systems preferred (SalesForce), working in alignment with marketing automation tools and systems (Marketo)
  • Numerate with good analytical skills, using data to optimize/maximize the marketing plan in real time.
  • Working in a fast-paced sales-driven environment
  • Experience in Social/digital Media (Web, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube)
  • Positive, energetic attitude and initiative, with strong work ethic, enthusiasm for the company, role, industry
  • Ability to perform role at highest levels while enabling a dedicated work/life balance, ensuring equilibrium between your work and personal life
  • Proactive self-starter, solution finder to find and take on new projects that support team and channel marketing goals
  • Ability to effectively set priorities, handle multiple partners/projects and follow through on deadlines with minimal supervision, a keen attention to detail and in a fast-paced environment
  • Good writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, ability to work at all levels of a business both internal to 8x8 and within a channel partner
  • G Suite, CRM and marketing automation platforms, ROI analysis/campaign measurement tools.

This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 50 mile radius of our Campbell office. For candidates who reside within 50 miles of our Campbell location, we ask that you schedule occasional office visits to connect with team members and work colleagues (free lunch Wednesdays!)

The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.

Salary Ranges:

$126,750.00 - $211,250.00
