Title and Summary
Channel and Partnership Programmatic
Mastercard is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Channel and Partner Professional to join our team. This is a critical role responsible for developing and executing a programmatic approach to channel partner management, driving engagement, and significantly increasing sales of Mastercard's core solutions through our partner ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Programmatic Partner Management: Design, implement, and manage a scalable, programmatic framework for partner engagement, including a tiering system, clear performance metrics, and automated processes.
Partner Portal Engagement: Oversee the strategic development and day-to-day management of the partner portal. Drive high levels of partner adoption and engagement by ensuring the portal is a central hub for resources, training, and communication.
Training and Enablement: Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for partners on Mastercard's main solutions. Ensure partners are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and sales collateral necessary to effectively sell our products.
Sales Generation: Directly drive sales and revenue through partners. Work collaboratively with partners to identify joint business opportunities, create co-selling strategies, and ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the partner program, including sales growth, partner engagement, and training completion. Provide regular, data-driven reports to senior leadership.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key partners at all levels. Act as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing their needs and ensuring a positive and productive partnership.
Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and partner feedback to continuously optimize the partner program and ensure Mastercard remains a partner of choice.
Qualifications:
Experience: 10+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development, preferably within the financial services or technology sector.
Programmatic Approach: Proven track record of designing and implementing successful, scalable partner programs. Experience with partner relationship management (PRM) software is a plus.
Results-Oriented: A strong history of meeting and exceeding sales targets through a partner ecosystem.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present to and negotiate with partners and internal stakeholders.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically about partner relationships and how they can be leveraged to achieve business objectives.
Collaboration: A team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and sales.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
