Mainframe and Changeman Administrator

Job Summary
As a Mainframe and Changeman Administrator, you will ensure smooth operation, performance, and security of mainframe systems. Manage resource utilization, such as CPU, memory, and storage. Identify and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Develop and implement data backup and recovery strategies. Oversee and implement changes to mainframe systems, applications, and databases. Ensure the stability and reliability of mainframe systems and applications.
Responsibilities and Duties
Ensure smooth operation, performance, and security of mainframe systems.
Manage resource utilization, such as CPU, memory, and storage.
Identify and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Develop and implement data backup and recovery strategies.
Plan and implement mainframe system upgrades and patches.
Oversee and implement changes to mainframe systems, applications, and databases.
Coordinate the deployment of changes to production environments.
Manage change requests from developers, users, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with developers, users, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of mainframe systems and implementation of changes.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Typically, 4 years of experience in changeman administration, operations, or a related field
Knowledge of z/OS, z/VM, or other mainframe operating systems.
Experience with system administration tasks, such as user management, security, and performance monitoring.
