What You’ll Do:
The ITIL Change Management Specialist is responsible for administering, governing, and continuously improving the IT Change Management process to ensure changes are implemented with minimal risk and disruption to business operations. This role works closely with IT and business stakeholders to facilitate change planning, risk assessment, approvals, scheduling, implementation oversight, and post-implementation reviews in accordance with ITIL best practices and organizational governance requirements.
Govern and administer the end-to-end Change Management process.
Review, assess, and approve change requests to ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies.
Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and coordinate stakeholder approvals.
Evaluate change-related risks and ensure appropriate mitigation strategies are documented.
Monitor change schedules and identify potential conflicts or service impacts.
Ensure all required implementation, validation, testing, and backout plans are completed and documented.
Provide guidance and support to change requestors, implementers, and business stakeholders.
Monitor compliance with IT General Controls (ITGCs), audit requirements, and Change Management policies.
Produce operational and executive-level reporting on change performance, trends, risks, and process adherence.
Investigate change-related incidents and support post-implementation reviews and lessons learned activities.
Collaborate with Incident and Problem Management teams to improve overall service stability.
Drive continual service improvement initiatives and process enhancements within the ITSM framework.
Support the administration, governance, and optimization of ServiceNow Change Management workflows, reporting, controls, and automation.
Develop and deliver Change Management training, process documentation, and stakeholder guidance.
What You Bring:
3+ years of experience in IT Change Management, IT Service Management, or related IT operations functions.
Strong knowledge of ITIL Change Enablement / Change Management principles and best practices.
Experience facilitating CAB meetings and managing complex enterprise changes.
Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
Experience working within governance, compliance, and audit-controlled environments.
Strong understanding of risk management, governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
Experience preparing operational and executive-level reports, metrics, and trend analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet multiple deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
ITIL v4 Foundation certification preferred.

Broadband Salary Range: $53,000 – $88,000 CAD.
Our typical hiring range is between $53,000 and $70,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
