Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Senior Change Management Project Manager to lead strategic change initiatives within the Enterprise Global Supply Chain organization. This individual will play a critical role in driving successful transformation efforts by developing and implementing change management strategies that improve adoption, minimize resistance, and enhance organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of change management principles, stakeholder engagement, digital deployment initiatives and organizational development strategies.

The qualified candidate may be located anywhere within the continental United States near an existing Northrop Grumman facility including, but not limited to: Baltimore, MD, Falls Church, VA, Irving, TX, Melbourne, FL, or Chandler, AZ. Virtual telecommuters will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans to support Global Supply Chain key strategic initiatives including major digital tool deployments across all sectors.

  • Lead end-to-end business change activities for transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring successful adoption and measurable outcomes.

  • Assess the impact of change initiatives and develop tailored approaches to drive employee adoption and minimize resistance.

  • Assess change impacts across processes, digital systems, stakeholders and culture, tailoring change approaches to minimize resistance and deliver results.

  • Drive proactive collaboration with senior leadership, project teams, and key stakeholders to secure unified alignment and demonstrable backing for every change initiative. Design, create and deliver effective communication and training programs to facilitate smooth transitions.

  • Develop and deliver change readiness, training and communication strategies that support successful deployment and go-live.

  • Support implementation through user engagement, training materials, user guides and feedback loops to improve adoption and satisfaction.

  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with change initiatives and develop mitigation plans.

  • Define and track adoption and key performance indicators (KPIs)to measure the effectiveness of change management efforts.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by integrating change management best practices across the organization.

  • Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, creating two-way communication channels and managing resistance to change.

Additional Duties

  • Liaison between program management, multiple project teams and business partners, such as Corporate Communications.

  • Oversee/lead Change Management aspects of a project throughout all phases.

  • Develop strategic plans and roadmaps in support of assigned change efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, Applied Project Management or related field and minimum 14 years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree and 12 years of relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated understanding of change management frameworks such as PROSCI, ADKAR, or Kotter’s 8-Step Change Model.

  • Experience delivering large-scale transformation programs and driving adoption across multi-business-unit, cross-functional environments.

  • Demonstrated experience establishing and executing enterprise change management strategies which align to business objectives and goals.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, including presentation delivery, with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs related to change management.

  • Proven ability to support an evolving set of projects and priorities while maintaining a strong professional presence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in supply chain, aerospace, defense, or a similarly regulated industry.

  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale, technology-driven change across complex, matrixed organizations.

  • Project/Program management experience and ability to work in an Agile environment. Project Management Professional, Project Management Institute Certification a plus.

  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci Change Management Certification)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess change impact and effectiveness.

  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to function independently, meet deadlines and achieve commitments.

  • Ability to obtain a US Government Secret security clearance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $133,000.00 - $199,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
