With a mission to deliver best-in-class Finance technology capabilities as accelerators and enablers of growth, the Mars Corporate Finance Technology (FinTech) organization plays a critical role in delivering the Enterprise Digital Transformation agenda for Mars. As a member of the Finance Strategy and Operations leadership team within FinTech, the Change Management Lead will manage the change portfolio to align with strategic goals. This individual will be at the forefront of developing and executing change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions for all FinTech projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address resistance and foster acceptance of change, and communicating change initiatives effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Develop and evolve the change management strategy for FinTech, creating an effective overarching approach that collaborates with the FinTech extended leadership team and partnering teams to maximize adoption and minimize resistance to change, ensuring smooth transitions for all projects across the portfolio;
  • Socialize the FinTech portfolio across Finance at the Global level, and partner with S&F Leaders to ensure socialization further into regional and local Finance teams where required, to effectively generate awareness, build support, and ensure stakeholder engagement;
  • Develop, own and deliver the overall change plan for FinTech, by partnering with the FinTech leadership group and partnering teams to ensure transformational changes are clearly defined from a people, process and technology standpoint;
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, building strong relationships and managing their expectations throughout the change process;
  • Identify specifically impacted groups and assess how the change will impact them, their support needs and how to drive their ADKAR journeys;
  • Foster a positive change culture within the organization by promoting awareness, enthusiasm, and accountability for change through a Change Champions network to encourage and facilitate the adoption of new behaviors, processes, and technologies;
  • Partner with change leads from across Segment, Corporate and MGS teams to conduct readiness and change impact assessments to understand the size, scale, complexity and risk of the change;
  • Partner with change leads from across Segment, Corporate and MGS teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) as measure of success, establishing mechanisms to evaluate the impact of the change initiatives;
  • Identify, mitigate and report on significant change management risks, along with tracking change readiness across the business through partnership with Segment, Corporate and MGS change leads;
  • Collaborate with Segment, Corporate and MGS teams to design training programs that equip associates with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to the change, and ensure follow through on delivery;
  • Provide input to Communication Strategy and Plan led by Corporate Affairs Lead, and own the development and socialization of ongoing change and communication material within FinTech to drive the overall engagement strategy across stakeholders;
  • Oversee the development of the FinTech Info Hub SharePoint site and partner with leaders to create and publish content including development of knowledge management strategy, and development and ongoing maintenance of a Finance portal.
