Role Description:
Technology Transformation and Integration (TT&I) sits in the heart of Deutsche Bank’s technology strategy execution. TT&I is a customer-centric organization, dedicated to building productive relationships with the CIO technology teams, shaping and executing the banks technology simplification agenda across Deutsche Bank.
Shaping and driving the banks Technology Data and Innovation (TDI) strategy, GTI Transformation is a key vehicle for simplifying the technology landscape and reducing the technology cost base to ratio expected by the financial markets. We intend that, by creating a culture of collaboration and understanding, with consistent working practices and financial validation across all CIO teams, we enable the banks wider community to achieve verifiable commercial benefits form investments. Your key responsibilities
As a leader, and senior representative in India, you will be partnering broadly across the bank, interacting with the CIO representatives; CTO colleagues; TDI COO, and transformation teams. GTI Transformation is a Key Deliverable for Deutsche Bank, reporting to the IT Steerco, and Transformation Committee, with periodic inputs to various Management levels and as such your role will be focused upon:
- Delivering Bank’s multiyear technology simplification plans by partnering with CIO areas.
- Develop, Track and Monitor Annual Book of Work (BoW) for Application Decommission working closely with CIO-1/Delegates and reporting on periodical basis.
- Ensuring financial validation of business cases and subsequent affirmation of benefit realization
- Effective issue resolution or Opco escalation for themes threatening benefit realization.
- Effective communication capability: to peers; senior management; input to regulatory and process compliance.
- Manage and steer team in India to provide the bandwidth to deliver the above
Key capabilities
- A demonstrable experience relationship building and coordination across Deutsche Bank – both in India and more broadly internationally
- Experience marshalling inputs to the banks Change Governance Framework; and presenting those to senior audiences.
- Commercial mindset: understanding of finances, costs bases (ADC / RTB / Amortization); contract terms and clauses.
- Experience chairing multi region calls to achieve defined outcomes.
- A demonstrable interest in cost base reduction and technology simplification
- Removing impediments to the team’s progress.
- Facilitating metrics focused culture to ensure delivery is quantifiably of appropriate quality and,
- CTO wide organizational impact
Your skills and experience
- Experienced practitioner with experience or interest in shaping and delivering a high profile, strategic, companywide, multiyear change program.
- A broad understanding of the bank’s structure, systems, and tools
- A proven capability to develop strong and lasting relationships across and throughout the organization.
- Personal capability with an interest in active participation, team development, coaching, mentoring and project delivery.
- Experience in Asset Life cycle Management, NAR processes, ServiceNow, awareness of Waltz, Application Decommission process will be an asset.
