What You’ll Do

The Change Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans that support high-impact change and transformation programmes across the business. This role partners closely with senior leaders, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure clear, consistent, and compelling messaging that drives colleague engagement and supports organisational transformation.

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • Develop and deliver multi-channel communication strategies for major change initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, company values, and market localisation requirements.
  • Shape and maintain a consistent transformation narrative, partnering with External Communications, Public Affairs, regional leaders and in-market communication teams.
  • Advise and support senior leaders on change communications, acting as a trusted partner and facilitating conversations on change progress, risks and organisational readiness.
  • Partner with People & Culture, Strategy, Change and Transformation teams to support enterprise-wide initiatives and align training and communication activities.
  • Design and implement communication frameworks, tools, playbooks and reusable assets that strengthen change capability across the organisation.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of change communications, providing insight-led recommendations to executive sponsors.
  • Coach senior leaders, people managers and project sponsors on effective communication during change, while participating in steering groups and project governance forums.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, while supporting crisis communications and business resilience activities as required.

  • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in communications, with a focus on global, largescale change and transformation programmes.
  • Proven ability to operate within complex, fast-moving environments (e.g., retail, FMCG).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex or technical topics into accessible, compelling narratives
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience advising senior leaders.
  • Prosci Change Management certification or equivalent change management qualification desirable, but not essential.
  • Analytical mindset, able to distil complex information into clear, actionable messages.
  • Experience in crisis communications and managing communications under pressure.
