Change & Communications Specialist
Governance, Risk & Resilience (GR&R)
6-Month Fixed-Term Contract or Contractor Opportunity

We're looking for a Change & Communications Specialist to support the delivery of a significant Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) transformation program.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is looking to build experience across change, communications, learning and business transformation. You might come from a communications, learning, project coordination, business support or change background and be ready for your next challenge.

We're looking for someone who is curious, proactive and eager to learn. Someone who picks things up quickly, takes initiative, asks thoughtful questions and enjoys turning complex information into clear, practical content.

You'll work closely with experienced project leaders, subject matter experts and stakeholders across the business, giving you exposure to a major enterprise-wide transformation program while developing valuable skills in change, communications, learning and stakeholder engagement.

If you're a self-starter who enjoys making things happen and isn't afraid to respectfully challenge the status quo when something doesn't seem right, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

Change, communications and stakeholder engagement:

• Support the delivery of change and communication activities aligned to project milestones.
• Create engaging communication materials including key messages, FAQs, presentations, intranet content, stakeholder updates and leader briefing packs.
• Translate complex system, process and policy changes into clear, practical and easy-to-understand communications.
• Work closely with project teams and subject matter experts to understand impacts and support employee adoption.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve communication effectiveness and user engagement.

Learning, training and adoption:

• Develop learning materials including presentations, quick reference guides, user guides, videos and training resources.
• Support the coordination and delivery of training activities across a range of stakeholder groups.
• Create practical resources that help employees adopt new processes and ways of working.
• Explore opportunities to use AI-enabled tools to improve learning, content creation and user experience.

Risk & compliance content uplift:

• Review and improve risk and compliance content across the intranet.
• Simplify how employees access policies, frameworks, standards, procedures and learning resources.
• Improve content navigation, structure and searchability.
• Support content governance activities, including ownership, review cycles and ongoing maintenance.

What will help you succeed:

We're less interested in how many years of experience you have and more interested in your capability, mindset and potential.

You'll bring:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to quickly understand complex information and explain it clearly to different audiences.
• Curiosity and a willingness to ask questions, challenge assumptions and suggest improvements.
• A proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of tasks and outcomes.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• An interest in technology, AI tools and finding smarter ways of working.

Experience that would be helpful

• Experience in communications, learning, project coordination, business support, change or similar roles.
• Experience creating presentations, guidance materials, communications or training content.
• Familiarity with SharePoint or intranet content management.
• Exposure to a corporate, professional services or regulated environment.

Who we're looking for

You'll thrive in this role if you:

•    Learn quickly and enjoy taking on new challenges.
•    Like understanding how things work and finding ways to make them better.
•    Are comfortable asking questions and constructively challenging ideas.
•    Take initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do.
•    Enjoy turning complexity into simple, practical solutions.
•    Want to develop your skills and gain exposure to large-scale transformation projects.
