As an Agilent Product Data Manager - Change Analyst (m/f/d), you are part of a worldwide Product Data Management (PDM) organization, your key contacts are our internal customers when it comes to the point of product release or engineering changes. This includes e.g. master data management; document management and facilitation of the change control processes over the product lifecycle in Agilent's PLM- ERP systems.
In this position you will collaborate with different departments e.g. R&D Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning, Logistics and Finance to ensure the changes are appropriate documented and correctly maintained in our PLM & ERP systems.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Support the Product Lifecycle and the associated Change Management Process
- Analyzing change order before these are implemented in our ERP System (SAP)
- Local Waldbronn contact for R&D, Manufacturing, Product Support, Marketing and Logistic regarding the change management process, material master set up (incl. bill of materials)
- Part of projects, help our internal customers to track the change process during the product life cycle, especially during the release phase of new products
- Alignment to process requirements, internal business guidelines and Job aids to ensure compliance and data integrity
Process improvements
- Continuously review the current business process and system design to identify errors and their roots causes. Assist in troubleshooting and provide inputs to improve our setup
- You are part of design change review process, create test cases and/or complete tests before process/system changes are implemented
- Review, create and update internal training material and communicate them effectively in the PDM Organization
Qualifications
We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:
- Vocational Diploma or University Degree or equivalent education
- Typically, 2-4 years relevant work experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Good SAP ERP knowledge (Material Master, Bill of material, change control process, Document management)
- Workflow management is also not new to you, Oracle-Agile would be perfect., Jira is also desirable
- Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in job and ability to work independently and able to travel worldwide (average 1-2 times per year)
- Proficient communication skills in German and English, both verbally and in writing
On a personal level, you are open minded, autonomous, thorough, proactive and like to solve complex problems. You also have great interpersonal skills to communicate with both internal and external partners. Last but not least, you are excited to work in an international team and able to deal with different region and culture.
