-Lead the Finance function for a very large country or cluster of countries (typically very large revenue as per the Core Grid). May lead large/medium team.

Major accountabilities:
- Contribute to the strategy development of the organization and ensure the execution within the function -Drive the budgeting process, develop and implement strategic long-term financial and business plans, ensuring alignment across the organization, and prepare various high level management reports on a monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis.
- Lead the business in managing Financial performance, monitor business performance against set objectives and take corrective measures, as required.
- Engage proactively in external and commercial activities with the objective of driving growth, productivity and efficiency for the business.
- Oversee risk management, financial compliance and controls (Business Process Controls, Internal and External Audits) & the development, review and approval of comprehensive financial, purchasing and control processes and policies and ensure adherence thereof.
- Manage and integrate services delivered to the organization (define processes, agree and track Service Level Agreements).
- Conduct market studies and financial analyses and set stretch objectives based on external / competitor benchmark.
- Manage and develop the Finance teams within the region/ country and builds global talent pipeline.
- Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)
Key performance indicators:
- Target Achievement of Sales, TFC and Consolidated Gross Income -Accuracy of Forecasts compared to Actuals -Working Capital ratios achieved -Compliance of financial processes with NFCM requirements and meeting statutory and internal reporting deadlines
