This position will focus on the Center for Learning including:
o Set-up and tear down each lab for Foundation and Assessment courses
o Provide open lab opportunities for students who are referred to the CFL for skill remediation
o Coordinate Center for Learning including:
§ Hours of operation 7am-3pm
§ Inventory/Cataloging new purchases & equipment
§ Tote order for Foundations courses
§ Research and ordering supplies
§ Preview/purchase/repair/maintenance of equipment
§ Research Lab equipment requests/needs
§ Maintain laundry supplies (gowns, bedding, towels) and coordinate laundry swap
o Assist Department Chair in managing the Center for Learning budget.
o Assist the Simulation Educator as needed.
o Provide tours and hands-on experience to visiting groups
o Attend department meetings.
Position will run during the academic calendar with back-to-school finals week each semester.
Hours: 20 hours a week, with flexibility to meet the department's needs within 7 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Qualifications
- Minimum AA/AS degree
- Minimum Medical certification required:
- -CNA
- -PCT minimum
- Preferred medical licensure:
- -LPN/RN with appropriate licensure preferred.
Skills Required
- Associate degree (AA/AS)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification
- Availability to work 20 hours per week within 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and per academic calendar
- LPN or RN licensure
