Job Description:
An opportunity for a Certification Eng. - Derivatives has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Airbus Derivatives Programmes Certification and Airworthiness team. This multidisciplinary and international team is responsible for defining and implementing complex system certifications for derivative programs, ensuring compliance with strict global military and civil airworthiness standards. This is a key challenge to support our products from the initial design phase through their entire lifecycle.
Responsibilities
The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
Define the applicable certification basis and draft comprehensive air system certification plans.
Coordinate with technical organizations and Airworthiness Authorities to verify compliance and present means of compliance documentation.
Evaluate design modifications, classify changes to type certificates, and approve flight test clearances under DOA privileges.
Manage the individual airworthiness documentation for aircraft deliveries, including concessions and operator changes.
Lead continued airworthiness monitoring, managing occurrence reports and coordinating with authorities on Airworthiness Directives.
Approve Service Bulletins from an airworthiness perspective and participate actively in Product Safety Committees.

Experience: Professional experience in aviation engineering, aircraft systems, or regulatory compliance is highly valued.
