At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

The Snowflake Global Revenue Enablement certification team is fanatical about building and certifying technical champions worldwide. We constantly deliver innovative learning and enablement solutions to help individuals excel on the Snowflake Data Cloud.

We are looking for an action-oriented Certification Coordinator to support certification operations, vendor management, exam development, and candidate marketing. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with external vendors, internal technical experts, and candidates to scale and streamline the global SnowPro Certification program.

The ideal candidate is a high-ownership self-starter with a knack for identifying inefficiencies, automating manual processes, and managing vendor relationships. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, feel comfortable making real-time decisions with incomplete data, and drive projects to completion with minimal oversight.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Vendor Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for external certification vendors and partners, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs), operational alignment, and seamless integration with Snowflake systems.

  • Process Automation & Optimization: Identify operational bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and drive automation initiatives to eliminate manual tasks across candidate management and exam operations.

  • Candidate Marketing & Communications: Create, manage, and update all candidate-facing communications and web pages. Write engaging blogs, build email campaigns, and draft marketing assets to promote certifications and keep candidates informed.

  • Support & Operations: Manage global certification support cases in Salesforce, handle escalations, and oversee candidate workflows (voucher distribution, continuing education, accommodations, and exam security).

  • SME Program Management: Lead recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and communication for SnowPro Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Train SMEs on exam development best practices and Snowflake style guidelines.

  • Exam Development & Publishing: Support exam development systems, maintain exam forms, assist with study guide content creation, and participate in exam publishing and localization.

  • Project Ownership: Drive medium-to-large-scale certification projects from concept to completion, taking full accountability for quality and on-time delivery in a rapidly shifting environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Vendor & Operations Experience: Proven track record of managing external vendor relationships and collaborating with technical/operations partners.

  • Process Automation Mindset: Demonstrated ability to identify workflow inefficiencies and implement automated or optimized solutions to scale operations.

  • Marketing & Content Creation: Strong experience drafting candidate-facing communications, managing web page updates, writing blogs, and building marketing email campaigns.

  • Autonomy & Initiative: Proactive self-starter who takes end-to-end ownership of projects and makes sound, real-time decisions with limited oversight or imperfect data.

  • Agility & Tech Aptitude: Ability to thrive in a high-velocity environment, adapt quickly to platform releases, and navigate ambiguous situations with confidence.

  • Experience: 4+ years in certification operations, program management, or technical education support, plus 2+ years in IT, technical training, or technical writing.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Business, Education, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong foundation in remote and asynchronous workflows.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • SnowPro Core or Advanced Certification.

  • Experience integrating, automating, or managing third-party tools (e.g., via APIs, workflow builders, or custom scripts).

  • Hands-on experience managing vendor operations with Pearson VUE or other major test delivery providers.

  • Familiarity with web content management systems, email marketing platforms, Certification Management Systems, and Question & Test Interoperability (QTI) standards.

  • Experience managing cases, automation rules, and workflows in Salesforce.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
